What a week I have had last week! I get a little tired just thinking about it but it was all worth it! It all started with the Charger’s game last Sunday, 11/23. It was my first home Charger’s game!!! I was so excited!! Great seats, fun and company….but not so great of an ending of the game! The Charger’s lost the last 20 seconds to a field goal! UGGGHHHH!! Well, enough of focusing on the negative, lets focus that the seats that we got were great thanks to Trisha’s friend hooking us up! Here are a few pics…
Well, after a very disappointing game…I was looking forward to the New Kids on The Block Concert!!! I knew that they would not disappoint me and they sure didn’t! I had so much fun at the concert! In fact, I am still humming the songs as I go about my day! I know….I know….people are starting to think that I am weird! It was great to be able to hear them sing their songs and it just brought me back to when I was a little girl listening to their tape and looking at their poster. It was seriously a dream come true to see and hear them live!! I ❤ NKOTB but don't worry not more than I LOVE Jesus!!!
Than there was Thanksgiving!!! I had such a great time with the Beidls! Good times!!! Ate until I could not eat anymore and than ate some more!! Such good memories of playing Cranium and me always doing something with an airplane and than teaching Andrea and the rest of the family how to play Take 2 and keeping Andrea from cheating! I just smile just thinking about the good times!! I was so thankful for them and for all that God has given me this year!!
Than there was my birthday…on Saturday! I was so blessed to be able to spend my birthday with my girlfriends, Trisha, LaDonna, Deena and Melanie! We went to the Red Pearl Kitchen and it was very yummy and than to the top of the Hyatt! I was so blessed by their presence and it made me so much more thankful of God in filling my life with such joy in deep friendships!
I must say that on Sunday, when I finally had some time to relax and reflect on my week, I was overwhelmed with just gratitude! The devil had tried to tell me that I hadn’t done much this year! But that was so not true! I was able to fulfill 3 dreams of mine. 1) Seeing Garth Brooks in concert and 2) Seeing NKOTB in concert and 3) Go to a NFL game. Those 3 things happened this year…the year that I turned 30. I was also able to go to see Wicked, visit Azusa Street, Getty Museum in LA and Malibu, see Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, OneRepublic in concert and see my favorite routines at the So You Think You Can Dance Tour. I also went to Scotland for 10 days on an amazing missions trip! I realized WOW!! I did all that!! This year has been a great year but it has had its trying times but I am thankful for the growth that has come out of me persevering and believing! I love my life and I felt so alive knowing that I didn’t let one opportunity pass me by this year! I lived my 30th year to the fullest!! Knowing all that I had accomplished and done this past year!! I am looking forward with ANTICIPATION for this next year!! God is on the move!! Stay Tuned!!
